Gary Chelak
Gary began studying historical fencing in 1994 while attending college. He served as both assistant and primary historic fencing instructor. He heads up the Southern California Chapter of Tattershall School of Defense.

Jeff Jacobson
Jeff first began taking classes in modern 3-weapons fencing in 1995. In 1996, he started fencing in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) and added classes in theatrical fencing to his study. In 2001, his search for history and technique of western martial arts brought him to the Tattershall School of Defense.

Ryan Shapiro
Ryan has had a lifetime love affair with swords, and after receiving his first sword at 10 there was no turning back. He first began taking modern classes in 2003 focusing on epee and saber. In 2008, he started fencing in the SCA and in 2012 joined the Tattershall School of Defense.
